Great Quote

Ok, so I was just about to clean my house when I got this email from a friend. Now, after reading this quote I guess I should wait.
Here is the quote:
Cleaning your house while your children are still growing is like shoveling the walk before it stops snowing. (Phyllis Diller)

Just kidding I'll get working.

Can I post that on my refrig. so I have an official excuse now for not getting this house cleaned?

Though we laugh, it has SOME truth to it. We don't have to have the perfect, meticulous home that we had pre-kids. We should never sacrifice love in order to have a spotless floor or glass without fingerprints. Balance is good. Not that I have the problem of overcleaning . . . just ask Ryan.

Yes...an excuse not to clean! I do try to remember though that it can wait and that the kids are my first priority!

I've had to start cleaning a different room every day, otherwise, when I take ONE day to clean, it's like ALL day I'm cleaning! That Friday you came over, I seriously spent like the entire morning and most of the afternoon and evening CLEANING. Floors, bathrooms, counters, laundry, guest beds set up, kids toys put away, de-cluttering cabinets and desks, wiping down tables, exhausting! I like your funny quote! :)
